This mahogany and brass construction comes with a Bausch and Lomb pneumatic Shutter, f5.5-32, speeds T B I, 2,5,26,60,100. All seems to be working with correct speeds (the cocking and firing mechanisms are quite tight and stiff) , and working aperture.
Cleaned and partly restored.
As can be seen in the pictures the woodwork is good, the brass has general degradation but could be shined some more.
It has a rising front, tilt and swing on the back. It also has a double extension bellows. The bellows are in very good clean condition.
The Lens is quite clean, also the blades.
May Roberts &Co were wholesale Chemists in Clerkenwell London in the very early 20th Century and sold cameras and accessories under the Sandringham name, probably made by Houghton Ltd. of London.
Good looking camera in working condition.
